DUBAI – The UAE Flag Garden has officially reopened at Umm Suqeim Beach, welcoming visitors to experience a striking wave of red, white, black, and green along Dubai’s iconic coastline.

Located beside the Burj Al Arab, the display forms part of the country’s national celebrations and will remain open until Saturday, January 10.

Now in its 12th year, the installation is organised by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office. Entry is free, making it one of the most popular outdoor attractions for residents, tourists, and families during the UAE’s national month.

UAE Flag Garden

This year’s edition of the Flag Garden honours the UAE’s founding fathers, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.

Thousands of flags have been arranged to form impressive aerial portraits of the two leaders – a breathtaking sight best viewed from above. The display coincides with celebrations of UAE Flag Day and Eid Al Etihad, marking the nation’s enduring spirit of unity.

When and where to visit

The garden is open daily from Friday, October 31, until Saturday, January 10, at Umm Suqeim Beach, directly next to the Burj Al Arab and the recently opened Jumeirah Al Marsa hotel. It provides a stunning setting for photography, particularly during sunset.

How to join the celebration

Residents across the country will raise the UAE flag on November 3, commemorating the anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s accession as President in 2004.

Brand Dubai encourages visitors to share their Flag Garden moments on social media using the hashtags #ZayedAndRashid and #UAEFlagGarden to spread the national pride.
